1. How to open the lock
1. Set all four dials to 0 so the combination reads 0000.
2. Ensure the digits are aligned precisely with the indicator mark.
3. Pull the metal shackle upwards to open the lock.
The factory-set code is 0000.
2. How to set your own code
1. Open the lock using the factory combination 0000.
2. Rotate the open metal shackle 90°.
3. Press the shackle down and hold it in that position.
4. While holding the shackle down, set your desired combination on the four dials (e.g., 2584).
5. Release the shackle and return it to its original position.
6. Close the lock and scramble the digits.
The new code is now set.
3. How to verify the new code
1. Set the chosen combination.
2. Open the lock.
3. Close it and scramble the digits.
4. Re-enter the correct combination and check if it opens.
It is recommended to test the new code several times before using the lock on your luggage.
4. If the lock does not close
If the metal shackle does not slide back into the body:
– Check that the shackle has been fully returned from the code-setting position.
– Ensure it is not still rotated 90°. – Try setting the correct combination and carefully closing the lock.
– Do not use force, so as not to damage the mechanism.
Important: The instruction photo does indeed indicate that the initial combination is 0000, and to change the code, you must rotate the shackle 90° and press down.
